LONGi has introduced the Hi-MO One Pro across the Nordic region, providing commercial and industrial businesses with an integrated energy storage platform designed for increasingly electrified and dynamic energy environments. The modular 261 kWh hybrid energy storage system integrates smart energy management, battery management, power conversion, thermal management, and LONGi's patented, TÜV-certified iCCS predictive safety technology within a single coordinated architecture.

Hi-MO One Pro is part of the newly introduced LONGi ONE storage portfolio and was developed for businesses seeking greater flexibility, resilience, and control over energy use. The platform supports a wide range of applications, including self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, backup power, microgrids, and hybrid photovoltaic-storage systems, helping organizations make more efficient use of renewable electricity.

The launch of Hi-MO One Pro reflects LONGi's expansion beyond solar generation technology into integrated energy management solutions. The platform addresses the growing demand for energy flexibility, operational resilience, and greater control over electricity consumption as electrification continues to reshape commercial and industrial operations.

Integrated platform design reduces installation and operating complexity

Hi-MO One Pro brings together five core technologies within a unified system architecture, including smart energy management (EMS), battery management (BMS), power conversion (PCS), thermal management, and the company's patented iCCS predictive safety technology. More than 80 percent of core system components are developed and manufactured in-house, which enables close integration between hardware, software, and safety functions. This coordinated design reduces system complexity and supports more efficient installation, commissioning, service, and long-term operation.

The platform delivers 261 kWh of storage capacity and is available with either 125 kW or 250 kW power conversion capacity. AC and DC cabinet variants provide flexibility for different commercial and industrial use cases and project requirements.

Cell-level monitoring enables predictive safety management

One of the defining characteristics of Hi-MO One Pro is its ability to identify potential battery abnormalities before they develop into critical safety events. This capability is enabled by LONGi's patented iCCS predictive safety technology, a TÜV-certified early warning system that continuously evaluates battery behavior at cell level through parameters such as voltage, temperature, gas generation, valve activity, electrolyte leakage, and internal resistance.

The system can detect changes in internal resistance up to three to six months before potentially critical thermal developments occur. It can also identify abnormal gas generation more than 25 minutes before critical conditions develop and detect safety valve openings three to five minutes before a potential thermal runaway event. These capabilities provide operators with earlier visibility into battery health and additional response time.

The safety architecture integrates predictive monitoring with combustible gas detection, exhaust systems, aerosol fire suppression, and smoke and thermal detection. The platform complies with NFPA 855 and relevant IEC and UL standards, supporting proactive maintenance strategies and high operational reliability throughout the lifetime of the system.

Pre-configured energy management accelerates deployment

Hi-MO One Pro incorporates an integrated Energy Management System (EMS) that arrives pre-configured for European grid requirements and reduces on-site commissioning effort. The system manages charging, discharging, and grid interaction in real time and supports functions including peak-valley optimization, demand response, anti-reverse power flow control, backup switching, and remote operation and maintenance.

The EMS works directly with LONGi's iCCS predictive safety technology to coordinate energy management and battery protection within a single platform. This architecture helps businesses manage distributed energy resources more efficiently and simplifies operation across increasingly dynamic commercial and industrial energy environments.

Built for electrification and multi-energy environments

Hi-MO One Pro enables direct integration of photovoltaic generation through a 63 kW MPPT input and supports coordinated operation with grid supply, diesel generators, battery storage, and electrical loads within a single cabinet architecture. The platform is suitable for applications including self-consumption optimization, peak shaving, demand response participation, and hybrid photovoltaic-storage-diesel systems.

The platform was developed for businesses that are adding new electrical loads and seeking greater flexibility from existing grid infrastructure. Intelligent energy management and storage capabilities enable Hi-MO One Pro to reduce peak demand on grid connections and improve utilization of available connection capacity. This can defer or reduce the need for transformer upgrades and other grid-related investments and enable the integration of additional electrical loads such as EV charging, heat pumps, and electrified industrial processes.

Modular expansion supports phased investment

Hi-MO One Pro uses a modular cabinet architecture that allows storage capacity to grow as operational requirements evolve. In AC configuration, multiple units can be connected in parallel to increase both power and capacity. In DC configuration, additional cabinets can be added to expand storage capacity independently of power output.

Depending on system design and load profile, the platform can provide backup durations of up to 24 hours and support continuity of critical operations during grid interruptions. Typical deployment environments include manufacturing facilities, logistics centers, commercial buildings, agricultural operations, and data-driven facilities. The modular design enables businesses to scale investment over time while retaining a consistent system architecture throughout the lifetime of the project.

Electrification and energy resilience increase storage demand across the Nordics

Sweden, Norway, and Denmark are among Europe's most electrified economies and continue to expand renewable electricity generation while pursuing ambitious decarbonization targets. Growing deployment of electric vehicles, heat pumps, data center infrastructure, and electrified industrial processes is increasing electricity demand across the region and creating new requirements for energy flexibility. At the same time, grid connection capacity and long lead times for network upgrades have become important considerations in several regions. These developments are increasing demand for energy storage solutions that can support operational resilience, optimize energy use, and help businesses make better use of available renewable electricity.

Hi-MO One Pro was developed to address these evolving requirements. The combination of integrated energy management, scalable storage capacity, and predictive safety technology enables businesses to generate, store, and manage electricity within a single coordinated platform.

Hi-MO One Pro expands LONGi's portfolio beyond solar generation technology and helps commercial and industrial businesses manage the growing complexity of electrification and renewable energy integration across the Nordic region.
